Improve raid interaction and PvP incentives

Tigz enjoyed the season’s opening weeks but argues that punishing mechanics and predictable camping have weakened PvP. He wants a more engaging endgame and stronger reasons to interact with other players.

“We just don’t have an enjoyable endgame with player interaction anymore.”
Feedback details
  • Reconsider restrictions that encourage passive play and predictable camping around valuable loot.
  • Use earlier, more active raids as a reference for improving player interaction.
  • Fine-tune balance throughout the season; he sees PvE’s appeal as partly a response to PvP frustration.

Long-term perspective described in the post; exact hours and daily activity unverified.

Improve seasonal goals, loot and traders

HyperRat questions the incentive to continue seasons after limited-time tasks. He describes unrewarding loot and inconsistent fights, and proposes rare valuables across item categories plus a more useful Lightkeeper.

“there is no thrill in looting most of the time”
Feedback details
  • Add ongoing seasonal incentives beyond the limited-time task line.
  • Introduce rare, high-value loot across item categories and maps, usable for cash or gear barters.
  • Give Lightkeeper a trader tab, rotating gear barters and daily tasks.
  • Improve server stability; he reports rubber-banding and a perceived high-ping advantage, alongside difficult solo play.

Reduce aim punch and increase reaction time

Furlex attributes frustrating PvP to aim punch and EU desync. He requests less aim punch, removal of the throat hitbox and a modest increase in thorax time-to-kill so players can react.

“Right now PvP just feels like rolling the dice.”
Feedback details
  • Reduce aim punch by 80–90% (his proposed amount, not a shared recommendation).
  • Address reported EU server desync since the Season 1 update.
  • Remove the throat hitbox and slightly increase thorax time-to-kill.

Seasonal progression, combat and solo rewards

Mozula argues that separate seasonal characters devalue long-term PvP progression. He wants fights with time to react, much faster skill leveling, meaningful dog-tag barters, better solo rewards and achievements built around playing a season rather than repeatedly resetting it. He also calls for a lower ping limit, less desync and an 80% reduction in flashlight flare. He wants the full Flea Market unlocked at level 15 so players can choose what to buy or find in raids.

“Solo play should be rewarded too.”
Feedback details
  • Keep the established PvP character at the center of the game. Treat wipes as seasons while retaining career statistics and earned achievements.
  • Merge achievements between main PvP and Seasonal so the active profile reflects all the time invested. Keep expired event achievements separate from an attainable core list, using Steam’s approach as a reference.
  • Avoid splitting the remaining PvP population again after PvE. As players spread more evenly between main PvP and Seasonal later in the season, both modes risk feeling empty.
  • Remove the neck hitbox, reduce aim punch and add a 5–10 second adrenaline window after taking fire so players can reach cover. Make the existing Elite adrenaline effect available by default, since stamina loss and fractured legs can leave moving players helpless without painkillers.
  • Make point fire viable again. When caught off guard while sprinting, the sprint-to-ADS delay leaves it as the only immediate way to return fire.
  • Lower the maximum allowed ping from the 240 ms limit he reports, and address this season’s desync so EU players can get consistent fights on nearby servers.
  • Reduce flashlight flare by 80% so players facing a light can still see their opponent. Flashlights should help you see into dark corners, not make you disappear from your opponent’s view.
  • Add meaningful dog-tag barters to make seeking PvP worthwhile.
  • Use valuable loot to draw players into fights, like the Tarcoin event around Chek 15: players rushed it every raid, and winning PvP brought a big payout.
  • Give every map enough loot to be worth playing. Ground Zero and Woods should be viable choices for making rubles, instead of only a couple of maps feeling profitable. Bring Shoreline Resort back to its prime, with valuable rooms and fights worth going there for, beyond quests and transit.
  • Give valuables useful gear barters, like the old trade of two Golden Eggs for a Bastion plate, so finding loot means progress toward gear you want to use.
  • Add back container spawns in marked rooms, including a very rare THICC case, so every key use has a chance of becoming a memorable raid.
  • Rotate boosted loot so logging in means choosing a new place to fight. RB-PKPTS on Reserve could draw players into the bunker one day, then a quieter spot on another map gets the bonus the next day.
  • Accelerate skill leveling substantially: target Elite skills in roughly 200 raids within a 120-day season.
  • Test 25–50% more raid XP for solo players to offset squad advantages: teammates can recover gear without insurance and combine scav kills for shared task progress, while a solo does every objective alone.
  • Make every seasonal achievement obtainable in one character run, even if it takes the entire season. Avoid mandatory prestige resets and extreme money grinds.
  • Protect early-wipe fights by limiting top-tier ammunition, including Icebreaker supply, while keeping armor accessible. Class 4 armor against low-penetration ammo should extend fights. Make variable scopes extremely rare early wipe: finding one should mean choosing between using its advantage and selling it for 500,000 rubles to fund hideout upgrades. Keep their performance unchanged and the full Flea Market open at level 15. Apply Icebreaker nerfs only to Seasonal characters.
  • Make early-wipe Twitch drops mostly hideout items, with no meta high-penetration ammunition or class 5 or 6 armor plates.
  • Expand on M80A1 and Blackout AP crafting with other high-penetration ammunition crafts, unlocked through challenging quests that make the reward feel earned. These quests should unlock above level 50, giving players something to grind for after max traders and Kappa while keeping high-penetration ammo scarce and extending early wipe.
  • Make Ref’s unique gear rewards worth the grind again. Having his progression tied to another game is frustrating, so his rewards should at least justify the effort.
  • Make attachments at Peacekeeper level 4 considerably better than those at level 2, so higher trader levels unlock worthwhile upgrades.
  • Raise carry-weight thresholds using Softcore as a reference so players can take the gear they win and keep moving.
  • Unlock the full Flea Market at level 15. Let players choose whether to spend their rubles on expensive gear and hideout items or find them in raids.

Self-reports thousands of hours, 110 achievements and a #9 world achievement ranking on his main PvP character at submission. Ranking, playtime and progression claims have not been independently verified.

PvP, prestige and quest design

MTX wants players who move to have a chance to fight back, with more effective armor and reliable servers. He also calls for meaningful prestige, more interactive quests and a consistent design direction. He has not played recently and plans to revisit his feedback after returning.

“Prestiges are meant to be prestigious.”
Feedback details
  • Reward movement and PvP without requiring constant sprinting; give moving players a chance against stationary opponents.
  • Remove neck and armpit hitboxes so armor is more effective and time-to-kill is longer.
  • Improve servers to reduce desync, hit-registration problems and connection issues.
  • Keep prestige difficult enough to feel earned rather than making it too easy to obtain.
  • Quest variety and less dependent on collecting and delivering items.
  • Make PvP appealing enough to draw players from PvE. He dislikes the three-way split but does not expect Seasonal to be reversed.
  • Consider community feedback while maintaining a clear design direction; avoid rapidly weakening new challenges to accommodate casual players.

Rotating loot hotspots

LVNDMARK proposes automatically rotating high-value loot locations to change raid routes and encourage visits to unused areas. He initially suggests buffed key rooms, then clarifies that hotspots need not be limited to those rooms.

“moving hotspots to make people go to unused areas of maps would be great”
Feedback details
  • Rotate boosted loot locations every few hours or daily.
  • Show active locations with an icon on the map selection screen.
  • Use changing points of interest to encourage new routes across more maps.

Tools to counter camping

Pestily supports camping and ambushes as valid playstyles but wants better ways to counter them: faster grenades, more effective smoke, more extracts and stronger incentives to move.

“More extraction choices”
Feedback details
  • Speed up grenade throwing; his related reply explicitly excludes impact grenades.
  • Make smoke grenades cheaper and increase their smoke coverage.
  • Add more extraction options and incentives to move.
  • Keep camping and ambushes available rather than banning the playstyle.

PvP incentives, seasonal skills and ammo supply

Cwis considers Tarkov’s content and core gameplay possibly its best yet, but finds too few reasons to keep playing PvP. He wants better map loot, worthwhile late-game goals, a lower ping limit, faster seasonal skills and more trader ammo. He also wants all achievements obtainable in one season without character resets.

“Lategame tarkov feels empty now, nothing to really grind for”
Feedback details
  • Improve loot on under-rewarding maps and add late-game goals that keep players engaged in PvP.
  • Reduce the slow, punishing feel that encourages players to sit still.
  • Lower the ping limit; he estimates it is around 210 ms but is unsure of the exact figure.
  • Increase the default seasonal skill-leveling boost to 100%, reaching 170% faster with perks and hideout bonuses.
  • Move Elite skills from level 51 to level 31 while preserving their total percentage bonuses, making each level more meaningful.
  • Stock more ammunition on traders and increase purchase limits so a few raids do not consume ammo saved across many resets.
  • Make all achievements obtainable within one season without requiring character resets.

Make fighting while moving more viable

Emm3D says recoil, weapon sway and movement penalties favor stationary players. He wants stronger armor and faster weapon handling so moving players can fight back.

“Quicker sprint to fire speed, sprint ADS delay needs to go completely.”
Feedback details
  • Rebalance recoil: he argues that uncontrolled fire can climb from the thorax into the head before an opponent reacts.
  • Make walking point-fire sway more predictable and reduce the recoil disadvantage of moving.
  • Buff armor and fix or remove the throat/neck hitbox.
  • Reduce stacking movement-speed and turning-speed penalties from gear.
  • Shorten sprint-to-fire time and remove the delay before aiming down sights after sprinting.

Meaningful gear progression and skill-based PvP

Roronoasins says trader ammunition and attachment balance no longer reward progression, while passive fights and team advantages make solo PvP less enjoyable. He welcomes tiered missions and quality-of-life improvements but wants Tarkov to preserve the depth that rewards learning and mastery.

“In video games, I enjoy feeling that I’m making progress.”
Feedback details
  • Make trader ammunition upgrades feel rewarding as reputation and character progression increase.
  • Restore meaningful attachment choices: cheap parts should not routinely match or outperform expensive upgrades without a tradeoff.
  • Address encounters where stationary players and negative perk effects leave moving players little chance to respond.
  • Consider how team-oriented changes compound the disadvantages of solo play.
  • Keep tiered missions, faster queues and inventory improvements, which he sees as positive changes.
  • Preserve mechanical depth and meaningful difficulty rather than simplifying away the skills players can master.

Movement, loot and usable skills

Smojii wants immediate tuning to make movement and progression feel better. He praises the quest rework for making Kappa attainable while arguing that useful skills still arrive too late in a wipe.

“Reduce footstep hearing distance”
Feedback details
  • Reduce aim punch and remove ADS delay.
  • Increase general loot and key-room rewards.
  • Reduce footstep hearing range and increase carrying capacity.
  • Remove diminishing returns from skill leveling so developed skills can be enjoyed before the wipe ends.
  • Review dependent skill progression; he reports problems leveling Health after related skills are maxed.

Make seasonal PvP rewarding and gear progression worthwhile

Alle wants less desync and aim punch, better armor protection, valuable map loot and a stronger seasonal endgame. He argues that armor shortages and no insurance discourage movement, asks for meaningful attachment upgrades and full Flea access at level 15, and proposes one optional prestige per season.

Feedback details
  • Reduce desync and teleporting as much as possible.
  • Make aim punch predictable, or reduce it by at least 80%, so it does not reward waiting for a moving player.
  • If neck and throat hitboxes remain, let heavier armor protect them and improve soft armor so protection justifies the movement penalties.
  • Restore valuable loot across maps, including memorable rare finds that give players a reason to move.
  • Improve the seasonal endgame, armor supply and gear recovery; he sees armor shortages and no insurance as reasons to avoid fights.
  • Increase Black Division spawn rates at set locations as one way to make armor farming and moving through raids worthwhile.
  • Make gunfire more predictable. He proposes very low recoil, using patch 0.14 as a reference, and wants more viable weapons.
  • Make attachment upgrades meaningful so a fully modified weapon offers a worthwhile benefit over a stock version.
  • Restore full Flea Market access at level 15. He also suggests a possible two-week opening lock, followed by broad access so returning players are not left behind.
  • Allow one optional prestige per season so players have another goal without being forced to reset.
  • In his earlier X post, he also called for stronger movement, reconsideration of Elite Strength nerfs, better key-room loot and hitbox changes.

Reward progression and bring back active PvP

Sympli misses Tarkov’s demanding progression and rewarding fights. He wants better loot to encourage movement, faster early-wipe skill leveling, the old jump height and worthwhile quests and rewards beyond Kappa.

Feedback details

Keep Labs focused on PvP and review Scav rewards

SLAPPYALBERTOO gets Kappa and full Lightkeeper access each wipe, then spends his time on Labs. He wants the lights to stay on, stronger reasons to move and more viable peeking. He also thinks Scav runs offer too much profit for too little risk.

Feedback details
  • Keep Scav runs as a recovery option, but reduce how easily short runs can generate very large profits.
  • Buff movement so peeking and pushing are more viable against stationary players.
  • Remove the option to switch off the lights on PvP Labs.
  • Give Labs players stronger reasons to move and contest its valuable loot.

Make gear progression, valuable loot and active PvP rewarding

Average and dbal_demon say attachment unlocks no longer reward progression, too few weapons feel viable, and ordinary barter loot pays better than PvP. They want meaningful gear upgrades, exciting rare finds, less punishing weight and achievements shared between PvP characters.

Feedback details
  • Give attachments meaningful stat differences and make difficult unlocks worthwhile compared with cheaper, earlier alternatives.
  • Make more weapons viable by reviewing their actual recoil and handling, including differences that displayed stats do not explain.
  • Restore valuable loot across maps and give locations distinct reasons to visit, such as Interchange tech stores and Labs keycard rooms.
  • Make rare keys, keycards and container finds exciting again, with locked-room rewards that justify using the key.
  • Review inventory limits that prevent players from extracting additional copies of items they found in the raid.
  • Review flea restrictions on storage cases and other valuable items.
  • Make taking a defeated player’s gear worthwhile compared with collecting ordinary barter items.
  • Reduce the weight and movement penalties that make carrying a successful raid’s loot feel like a punishment.
  • Address armor gaps and handling penalties that leave active players with little chance to survive an ambush.
  • Share achievements between main and seasonal PvP characters, keeping PvE separate, and reconsider the split PvP population.
  • Improve desync. They also propose regional matchmaking with an exception for cross-region groups as a temporary measure.
  • Keep difficult quests and major milestones rewarding for dedicated players.

MrGWhites welcomes less restrictive quests but thinks Kappa and max traders arrive too quickly. He wants responsive movement, less visual disruption in fights, stronger map loot, reversible Labs lighting, shared PvP achievements and more regular events and cosmetic options.

Feedback details
  • Keep the freedom to use varied builds and complete kills outside narrowly defined areas, while making Kappa and max traders feel earned.
  • Improve movement and peeking, using Arena’s responsiveness as a reference.
  • Reduce aim punch, aim blur and aim shake so players can identify an attacker and return fire.
  • Reduce how strongly hearing footsteps rewards stopping and waiting for the approaching player.
  • Reduce blinding flashlight flare, especially in daytime.
  • Improve loot across all maps and create valuable, risky hotspots that encourage players to move and fight.
  • Allow players to turn the lights back on in Labs.
  • Show achievements earned on the main PvP character on the seasonal character without requiring them again.

Make winning PvP valuable and reward player skill

Cornie says quest rewards and ordinary barter loot offer more value than winning fights. He wants more valuable player gear, scarcer high-penetration ammo, removal of throat and armpit hitboxes, meaningful movement and weapon skill, and rare finds worth fighting over.

“the loot is worth less than me looting tool boxes for nuts and bolts”
Feedback details
  • Rebalance quest rewards against PvP rewards: reduce the relative value of quests and increase the value of recovered player gear.
  • Make winning fights more profitable than collecting ordinary barter items, with rewards that recognize skilled play.
  • Reduce the availability of high-penetration ammunition so good armor matters and fights offer more chance to respond.
  • Keep early-season rewards and enemy gear from skipping the early-wipe phase; he points to Twitch drops and Black Division loot.
  • Remove throat and armpit hitboxes so armor offers more reliable protection.
  • Restore meaningful Strength, Endurance and skilled movement options, including jumps lost to previous nerfs.
  • Make recoil control and attachment knowledge matter again; he feels many stock weapons are already too forgiving.
  • Address desync and hit registration; he offers no specific technical fix.
  • Restore extremely valuable rare finds, including items worth 50 million rubles or more, to make marked rooms worth contesting.

Reward PvP and make combat less random

JawwwnTV says desync, aim punch and armor gaps make fights feel random, while weight and inertia make combat frustrating before max skills. He wants worthwhile rewards for fighting players, less unchecked access to top-tier AI loot, and fewer player Scav raids in Seasonal.

“Still the best game ever…”
Feedback details
  • Review neck and other hitboxes so investing in strong armor gives more reliable protection; he also raises removing the plate system as an alternative.
  • Restore less disruptive aim punch and investigate whether bugs cause excessive screen shake and aim displacement.
  • Improve desync and responsiveness. His proposed tick-rate increase is a suggestion, not an established diagnosis.
  • Keep inertia and weight meaningful, but make combat feel usable before reaching max skills.
  • Give fighting human players worthwhile rewards, including gear, ammunition, money and cases, and run events built around PvP.
  • Review how Icebreaker and Black Division farming supply top-tier equipment without comparable PvP risk.
  • Make dog tags more profitable as an additional PvP reward.
  • Reduce player Scav pressure in Seasonal. His alternatives are a few Scav raids per day, fewer player Scavs per map, or removing player Scavs from Seasonal.

Make armor, map loot and PvP progression worthwhile

Nedim97er wants neck protection that makes fights less random, profitable loot across maps, achievements shared between PvP characters and ammo access matched to trader armor. He also proposes easier map access after progression, changes to Scavs, removal of Flea pack selling and weaker impact grenades.

Feedback details
  • Remove the neck hitbox or add a separate neck protector that can be worn with any armor, using the neck coverage on the new Black Division rig as a reference.
  • Give every map except Factory a valuable loot hotspot, with particular attention to Shoreline and Interchange.
  • Make loot worth selling, including rare items and marked-room rewards, available across maps rather than concentrating profitable raids on Streets, Labyrinth and Labs.
  • Automatically credit achievements available in both PvP modes on both characters when earned in either mode.
  • Keep event achievements separate from the overall completion list so players can reach 100%.
  • Match trader ammunition availability to the armor tiers traders sell, across calibers.
  • Unlock direct Labyrinth entry from the menu after its storyline is complete.
  • Allow direct Terminal entry at a fixed night time after transiting there once in the current playthrough.
  • Remove the Icebreaker transit from Shoreline so it is a destination rather than a route through to another map.

Guslap wants better weapon-building menus, complete build purchases, bulk quest hand-ins and fixes for stash-selling crashes. He also asks for direct Labyrinth access, smaller squads, a tutorial that requires players to use its mechanics, and AI that loots, patrols and fights more actively.

Feedback details
  • Make Escape close the active pop-up instead of closing the whole weapon-building screen.
  • Include available flashlights and lasers when buying all items for a weapon build.
  • Allow bulk quest-item hand-ins with a selection window and an optional automatic selection.
  • Fix flickering items and crashes when using automatic stash selling.
  • Add direct Labyrinth access from the menu to make the map easier to play.
  • Cap squads at three players to make Seasonal less punishing for solos.
